Chris Chandler visits Florence!Chris Chandler, American Storyteller, visits Florence July 11

Chris Chandler loves coming to Florence. If you haven’t caught one of his previous performances, you’re invited to check him out Tuesday July 11, 7 pm at the Class Act Theatre.  You’re likely to find yourself loving him back.

Peter Yarrow (of Peter Paul and Mary) says, “the spirit of Woody Guthrie lives in the heart of Chris Chandler”.

Accompanied by guitar talent John Elliot, Chandler paints provocative prose pictures of slices of American life caught under the microscope of his creative gaze. Beneath the entertaining surface of his hilarious monologues you’ll witness a deep respect for language, literature and democracy. “He’s the best performance poet I’ve ever seen.” -Utah Phillips

Volunteer powered KXCR is especially grateful to the Class Act Theatre for providing their sweet performance stage. The lights will be dim and the coffee will be brewing for this 30 year veteran of the road.
