KXCR supports Siuslaw-area nonprofits by providing free public service announcements and several weekly interviews highlighting their work and events in our Siuslaw community. 

We also host a pet-of-the-week segment every Friday for Oregon Coast Humane Society (and film that for social media, too)!

KXCR supports our Siuslaw veterans and their families! Military Matters hosts experts from the VA and other veteran-focused organizations the 4th Friday of each month (Noon to 1:00 PM).

Topics include mental health, physical health, local veteran resources, and other important information for veterans and their families.

KXCR supports the City of Florence and Chamber through monthly interviews with the Florence City Manager along with weekly City and Chamber event interviews and no-cost PSAs.

In addition to interviewing people from across our community, KXCR airs over 20 locally produced talk and music shows. Local shows are created by people in our own Siuslaw Community with an added few from our Western Oregon community. 

We welcome all people in our community to create a show on KXCR (and we even provide free training).
