Front Desk & Hospitality
Want to support public radio by volunteering just a couple of hours per week? We need volunteers to greet visitors, cover the front desk, answer the occasional phone call, and complete minor housekeeping/filing tasks.
Technical Support
Working behind the scenes in radio broadcasting is a great way to learn new skills and support the KXCR mission of providing quality programming to our listeners. Our broadcasting team will provide the training and background knowledge necessary for understanding and working with our specific broadcasting computers and software (some previous computer experience may be required).
Facility Support
Are you handy with building or gardening maintenance? Volunteers are needed to assist with general upkeep of the KXCR building and grounds. Gardening, minor household repairs, and “handyman” services are always appreciated. Light housekeeping also is very appreciated. Just a couple of hours per month can make a huge difference and help keep the KXCR station running smoothly and looking good!
Marketing and Events
Do you have a background in marketing, fundraising, or event planning? KXCR Community Radio is looking for a volunteer who is able to assist us with our marketing strategy. We need your skills in planning, defining marketing goals, identifying target markets, budgeting and the use of technology to analyze marketing performance.
Newsletter
Help us get the word out to our listeners and supporters with our quarterly email newsletter. Share information about our station, volunteers, shows and more!
Social Media Volunteer
Do you have Social Media experience and enjoy using it? KXCR 90.7 FM is looking for a volunteer to work with our social media team to boost our social media presence on Facebook and Instagram.
Help create our posting schedules, develop and publish posts to acknowledge our underwriters, monitor comments and engagement, and interact with our listening community. Must be proficient in the use of Facebook and Instagram; "admin" experience preferred.
